We are NOT Terrorists

i saw the stunning and moving film “My Name is Khan” and produced this art piece. i highly recommend the movie (on Netflix). The caption reads:

Rizvan Khan, a Muslim man with Aspergr syndrome, lives happily with his wife Mandira, in San Francisco until a tragedy drives her away after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Now he’s on a quest to recapture the heart of the woman he loves.”

This film is so much more – weaving in a much larger and important narrative, involving the nature of our system, religious and ethnic differences, immigrants, torture, children, bullying, hurricanes, people with disabilities, intelligence(s), what true goodness and love look like, etc.   From poignent scenes shot in India and onto to America, the film is a gem, not to be missed. It’s long (2 hrs 41 min) so it might be helpful to see it in segments, as i did.

About blossomfire

I've walked this life path with sweet thoughts and burning wishes, a sound sense of purpose and an urgent need to express. Shy at first, I've overcome oceans of self doubt and self consciousness to seek an audience, ears like blossoms bending to the wondering wind. I am simple now. I am simple as a way to reach out. Worlds, galaxies, pivotal people, mushrooms, spiraling whilrlpools, i'm textured and wired for communication. Simply wired for fundamental transformation. A vision. A quest. A manifestation of divine Life, Light and Love. My name means Grace. A free gift, a talent, a value from the ultimate word maker, the Infinite Mind of the Infinite One. My mind to yours. Tree to limb, leaf to belief, falling and rising and knowing at the same time. Im Nancy (Grace) and grateful to know you.
